Madeleine and Tom’s wedding is one of those weddings that I think of again and again. It was a perfect combination of Madeleine’s excellent taste in wedding vision including flowers, her selection of an amazing new venue called the Prospect House, the A-team of vendors, and a photo spread worthy bridal party. I look back at all the fluffy pink and white peonies that were in perfect peak season in June and I just want to eat them.
All photos are courtesy of one of my favorite husband and wife photography duos, LewChan Photography. Alex and Eryn, ya’ll are killing it in these photos!! It was almost too difficult to pick my favorites for this post, so I just went a little nuts. I know you won’t mind.
Husband and wife! Then the happy couple and their family and friends were off to the Prospect House. It was a rainy day in the Austin area the Saturday of Madeleine and Tom’s wedding. No matter! These two and their crew bring their own sunshine to their party!
Don’t you love the shades of pink and the unique cuts of each of the bridesmaid dresses? Darling. And the guys look perfect in their dark suits!
Let’s take a moment to talk about the Prospect House in Dripping Springs. It’s so contemporary cool. It’s modern and clean in all the right ways. And the owners could not be nicer to work with.
Madeleine’s bouquet is one of my favorites. It’s pale pink and white peonies, garden roses, ranunculus, standard roses, with pops of gardenia foliage.

Long family style tables (one of my favorite looks!) were used for almost all of the guest tables for the reception. We used lots of fresh seeded eucalyptus and bay leaf garland to decorate the long tables. The garland was interspersed with elegant tall glass floating candle holders. On the remaining tables we reused the bridesmaid bouquets and filled in with mixed floral arrangements that complimented the bridesmaid bouquets. With the white walls of the Prospect House, the look was clean and elegant.
Royal Fig Catering in the background doing their set up. They are so nice to work with as a vendor and they always bring a great team.

The beautiful cakes are created by my friend Olga at Polka Dot Cupcake Factory. I can say from personal experience that not only are her cakes a work of art, but they are delicious! I was only a TINY BIT nervous adding the flowers to this culinary work of art!
