One of the things that makes my job as a floral designer fun is meeting and working with other wedding vendors. So when Ellen Westcott of Westcott Weddings asked us to be a part of a styled shoot with a group of super ridiculously talented vendors, of COURSE we said YES! Together we hatched a design plan and we used Austin’s new casual French restaurant Arro as our location and inspiration. Arro’s cool art deco meets French bistro vibe was the perfect setting for our French modern styled shoot.
Jessica from Everest Road Photography took all the photos,
Natalie Coulter of Mint & Maple Designs did all the hand lettering and artwork,
Avery Allen of Avery Allen Makeup of course did makeup,
and Lauren Ridings of LoLa Beauty did hair.
And our stunning model? That’s my friend Chelsea.
Sunny and I worked on all the flowers. LOVED every bit of it!
Aren’t these flowers gorgeous?! White garden roses, Polo roses, fringe tulips, ranunculus, sweet peas, and fern. For Chelsea’s bouquet we added white bouvardia, veronica, and queen anne’s lace. Have a mentioned I love a bouquet sash? A bunch of long pretty ribbons is so elegant.
The hard part about a shoot like this? Picking the photos to put on my website. #ridiculousproblems
Thanks again Ellen for putting together such a great team and for all of your amazing styling work!
