I get mad at myself sometimes when I sit on photos. Especially when I sit on photos that are this amazing from one of my favorite weddings. I loved everything about this wedding. It was relaxed, it was cool, it was ultra modern, totally unique and it just suited Tina and Jeff so perfectly. This wedding was designed by the uber talented duo of Elyse Shumsky and Katie Moore of Bellwether Design. These are the cool girls, ya’ll. The girls you look at and think “dang I wish I could so effortlessly wear that vintage dress with those booties and just the right accessories and look that cool.” They have a true talent for design and it shows, through both their wedding design and their furniture rental business. All of the amazing furniture you’ll see featured at Tina and Jeff’s reception is 100% Bellwether.
Tina and Jeff wanted a small, intimate backyard ceremony at the new home they had just finished building. Hashtag brave, right?
They had their families and their very closest friends in attendance. Tina looked stunning in her lace gown. Katie Moore did her makeup and hair. Because of course Katie can do design, and makeup and hair and oh yes, she and her husband Matthew of Matthew Moore Photography were the photographers for the wedding. Did I mention this is a talented team?
Here’s Jeff waiting to see his bride for the first time:

The colors for Tina’s wedding were so perfect for fall: crimson, burnt orange, pale peach, pale blue, mauve. Tina requested a wild, gardeny feeling bouquet with lots of texture. Hands down, this is one of my favorite bouquets I’ve ever made. Every time you turn it, you see a different flower or a different color. It was completely one of a kind.
While all the ceremony and cake cutting were going on, my LYFD team was busy prepping the reception space in downtown Austin upstairs above Parkside. This urban space was a blank canvas that the Bellwether girls filled with inviting couches, chaises, tables, and live plants that they rented from a friend. I had so much fun adding a million candles and loads of terracotta potted succulents to this space.
Here are the Bellwether girls themselves, Elyse and Katie!
My favorite space of the whole wedding? The DJ table! Bellwether brought the table and I brought approximately 100 potted succulents, flowers, plants, and some funky mad science experiment glassware. DJ Gatsby, who is amazing to work with by the way, was so on board with his crazy, plant heavy table. I even gave him the persimmons at the end of the night as a thank you. There are so many fun details on this DJ table! I just love it.

Me and the beautiful bride in her reception party dress. Two words for me: Needs lipstick. Sheesh.
Congratulations Jeff and Tina! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your special day!!
